Best deal for Apes and stainless steel cables 6 Months ago
Anybvody know the most reasonable place to buy apes and stainless steel cables? I am looking for 16 inch in height, 1.25 width and stainless steel; also, holes for internal wiring. I've been on metric's sites but there is nothin to click on and look at inventory and prices.

Thanks

Re:Best deal for Apes and stainless steel cables 6 Months ago
Just bought a set from Jireh Cycles in Crystal City, Missouri. They have one set of Z Bars that are on clearance for $50, with the holes for wiring. These are 12" though, I have a set of 2" risers so now I'm at 14" total. The only thing I have to change is the brake hose. Found a store on Ebay that custom makes the hoses for about $35. They are 1 1/4 bars too. I would post pics but for some reason I have trouble posting them on this site. If you send me your email, I can email them to you.

Tim B doesn't have an online store to browse items. Just give him a call and he'll hook you up. I have the exact setup you described and got all the parts except for the grips from him.

I'm not allowed to quote prices here, I don't know why, so you'll need the call or email me.
