Since I decided to get another bike after 20+ years out or the hobby and decided to go for a Road Star I can't help notice the number of guys, like myself, who get back into it and get on a Road Star.
The last bike I rode/owned was a '72 Bonnie with a big bore kit and full Cafe treatment. Actually, the last bike I owned was a Norton Combat Commando project that I sold to gain garage space for a Boy Scout project we were working on.
Needles to say, the 'Star feels pretty different.
But I swapped the forward controls out for the stock boards last night and took a nice little ride thru some WV hills today. I think Ive made a good choice.
