Passenger Floorboards 4 Years, 7 Months ago
|
|
|
Good morning fellow R* riders! I've been lurking the last several months while I was breaking in my '04 R*. I now have over 4000 miles under my belt. This is my first road bike . . . I've had a couple of scooters over the years and still keep one for around town.
Anyway my question . . . I just installed the Yamaha passenger floorboards and I have to say they are about the ugliest things when folded up! Has anyone come up with an idea as to how to dress these things up?

This is probably not what you are looking for but I'd sell those on Ebay and buy some Yami billet chrome or Cobra brand floorboards. These are all chrome underneath and look much better than all that rubber hanging out.
I found my Cobra's on Ebay for around $200 with the mounting brackets.

Pop Rivet,
Your solution looks pretty good! I can't tell by the picture . . .what did you use to cover the little dangling rubber holes?

No harm no foul, Jreed!!
I ride once a month with a group of 15 women. Whenever we pass through a town people casually look and then take a second look when they figure out it's all women!!
