Forwards to forward 1 Year, 5 Months ago
Went from boards to forwards because cornering became hazardous. Plus like the look of forwards. Problem is I'm 5'5" and forwards are a little stretch for me. Does anyone know if they sell something to move the forwards back a little? Or can something be modded to work? Thanks guys for any insight and all have a safe and happy new year.

Depends on what brand of forward controls you have and how close the brake master cylinder is to your pipes. If you have ones like I have there is no way to maove them back unless you move them outboard a lot. I am 5'-8" 31 inseam and I have a Mustang seat I had modified to push me forward even more than the seat did to start. Your best bet is a modified seat. BTW

There supreme legends, just took a look. If I move them out 1" I could probably get 2" back

Why is that Curt? When I put forwards on mine, I had to extend the linkage about 2-3 inches, so if he moves his pegs back wouldn't it be about right?

I am 5'10" and I love boards. I will never go back to pegs. Too tiring at motorway/freeway speeds.

Because if he moves his controls out to miss the pipes with the master cylinder then he will be to far out of alignment for his shifter rod to work properly. Not that he will have enough rod as I had to extend mine about 1 1/2".
