National Motorcycle Museum, Alamosa, Iowa 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago
While visiting my daughter and her family in Dubuque, Iowa, for Christmas, we visited the museum in Anamosa.

It features about 320 scoots from about 1906 through 1999 or so. It was exciting to see them and inspiring too! I got the itch to restore an old Indian or HD.

I went on Friday 12/23 and back on Monday 12/26 with some family members. No, I did not ride my scoot.

I would highly recommend a visit if you are nearby or want to make a road trip. Iowa has great roads to ride and J&P Cycles is one mile up the road from the museum.

Check out my pics here: Nat'l MC Museum Pics

Enjoy,
Ray

Could be a good place for a meet/greet? Any good camping in the area?

Wow! The National Motorcycle Museum in Iowa looks like a great place. I hope to ride in that area one day and check out the museum.

One place I did get a chance to visit and drool a few hours over the exhibits is Barbers Motorsports Museum in Birmingham AL

http://www.barbermuseum.org/index-full.php

Anyone having the resources, talent and time to preserve the history of two wheeling is all right in my book
