Today I stripped the grotty lacquer from my fork bottoms (while still on bike but wheel removed) and sanded the casting marks out. I can't for the life of me smooth out the bits that mount the fender and calipers though.

Rode it! mid 70s and sunny. Went around the Blackwater river/bay, hit a new watering hole and ate some oysters then back home.

MAN you guys with your badass baggers (Deadlion, Fireman, Rphazen, Black Rain, and the list goes on and on) are absolutley killing me!!!!! Actually you guys have helped me make my decision - I need an ass kickin bagger in my life. I have done enough stripped down 'round town bikes. You guys have definitely proven that a bike can be a head turner and a comfortable open road long distance machine at the same time.

Mine is sort of plane Jane, but its a real comfortable ride and it suits me.
