Thanks to Droptopcaddy, I have tore my bike down again! I took the Tricky Air leak off my bike and I am now installing an air bag setup... I got the metal cut and ready to weld in place... started taking the front end completely apart for some new neck bearings and progressive springs... now it is the waiting game... waiting for UPS to show up at the house with my stuff... I tell ya, he better be ready when he pulls up next to the garage... Ima be like a pitbull trying to chew his leg off til he gets me my packages!

Had the new white walls installed. I have never been a white wall fan but they were on the bike when I bought it and I actually think I am starting to like them with all the touring goodies. I will get some pics tomorrow if I get a chance to clean all that blue crap off them. Why do they put that crap on there?!?!?!?!

Can't wait to see the finished product. thanks, tomorrow i will be mocking them up in the backrest side brackets and measuring the distance between for the joining plates. the tour box that i have is an 1984 model hd which has moulded in ribs that run the lenght of the box on both sides. the brackets that i made sit under those ribs so i need to come off the bracket with a flat strip and then up again into the flat center area of the box. mort

I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR MY E-BAY FRONT SEAT,THE SHIPPER SENT IT TO WORK AND IT WAS SITTING IN THE MAIL ROOM SINCE LAST THURSDAY,THE RECEPTIONIST KEPT CALLING ME BUT MY NAME AND ONE OF THE FOREMAN'S SOUND THE SAME WHEN
SHE ANNOUNCES OUR NAMES OVER THE INTERCOM,KAIN TOMPKINS VS. JAY HOPKINS.
ANYHOW.....GOT THE SEAT TUESDAY AND IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, TODAY TOOK THE REAR SEAT OFF FOR THE PASSENGER AND GOING TO RETRO FIT THE NEW SEAT TO MOUNT IN PLACE OF THE PASSENGER SEAT AT WORK ON MY LUNCH BREAK.JUST GOT TO BE THERE IN CASE OF A DIE BREAK DOWN...LOVE IT WHEN THEY PAY ME TO DO GOV.JOBS FOR MY SELF...JUST CAN'T WAIT TO SEE WHAT I COME UP WITH? THE FRONT MOUNT LOOKS LIKE SOME OF THE TIRE CARRIER MATERIAL WE MAKE FOR SEMI TRAILER SPARE TIRE RACKS ON TRAILERS. NOW COMES THE DOCUMENTATION AND PICTURES....COMING SOON.
