I am brand spanking new to the forum (well as far as posting). I was re-introduced to the fun of motorcycles, and introduced to Yamaha's through a very good friend . I live in the Indy area, however, I was born and raised in Germany. Gemuetlichkeit!!!
Back in my younger days (teens) I was the proud owner of a Suzuki crotch rocket. In my 20's, I had a Honda Shadow, which I unfortunately laid down once. Ouch. Now, a decade later, I am ready to give a Yami
a try, which means I am in the market for a well, but gently used V-star 650. I am thinking it would be a good starter bike for a woman.
The best and longest ride I have ever been on (as passenger) was the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, and would highly recommend it. I guess it is a complete different experience than riding it yourself, nevertheless still a ton of fun.
I am glad to finally have joined this site. Anyways, just wanted to quickly introduce myself, and I look forward to learning a ton, as well as go on great future rides.
makes zero difference what you ride.... as we all get wind blown hair, and the same type bugs stuck in our teeth! i'm the exception to that rule...!
