Cleaning / polishing your RS 1 Year, 4 Months ago

I'd like to do a better job at keeping the RS clean this year. I know it's a constant battle to keep the bug splatter off the chrome and have appropriate chrome polish to make it look brilliant. But are there any easy products (tools and/or spray ons) you use to clean the fins on the engine? Or is it just a toothbrush with soap and water (and hours and hours of sitting while enjoying a brew or two or three or four...)?
