Okay, so lemme guess...

If Yami says to torque plugs to 13 ft lbs.

And, NGK shows that the only plugs to be torqued to that spec, into an Aluminum Head, would be a plug having a flat seat type with gasket, which is what we use... then my guess is that we use a 12mm thread diameter plug.

That being so, while 13 is the spec... there's a range from 10.8 - 14.5, and doing so, by hand, without a torque wrench is perfectly Okay!

(don't think I've ever used a torque wrench on a spark plug before. )

I bought the torque wrench to work on the wifes sedan, the bike i've always done by feel. I was just feeling all researchy so looked up the ngk site.

Are 156 in/lbs the same as 13 ft/lbs?
