You got it tight, and bent the tab back down over it?!?!

Did you, by chance, go ahead and use any Loctitie Blue? Not necessary, but it's good insurance.

I did use loctite, and turned the tabs down. I torqued it to 61 ft. lbs...it didn't seem like I had to turn it a whole lot though before it clicked, but I do torque my wheels down with the same wrench and it has never failed me

Sounds like you're good to go! How 'bout that belt tnesion? Did the tip to just put the wheel all the way back in the adjustment slots seem to do the trick?

There's room for wheel alignment fine adjustment there, but that's been thoroughly hashed out on other threads on that very topic, if you care to cover that.

Well what I did was move the wheel back as far as I could (credit to you for that) , then I did the wheel alignment trick (measuring from the middle of the nut on the frame to the nut/bolt on the wheel. I have both at exactly 16.5 so I know the alignment is good.

The belt is snug but not REAL tight. I took her around the block in the rain (couldnt resist) at about thirty and didnt hear any strange noises...but I am sure I will need to get up to speed this weekend after this darn rain
