can someone explain why it would be a pain to install an ignition module ?? Im about to snap one in soon but half of my bike will be in pieces by then.. and what about coils and plug wires..did you change them too..?? Dont mean to hijack your thread but i just wanna know..

The coils and wires you have (2007) are fine, save your money. As for removing and replacing the module it's about a 20 minute job.
1)Remove seat and left side cover, unhook the rubber strap holding the module behind the battery box.
2)Remove the fastener holding the fuse block in place, lift up and out of the way.Pay attention to where the wires are clipped and routed.
3)As you pull the ignition toward you, release each connector.

from what i can see there is a lot of bike on show... all the good stuff.... and the rest, well there wasn't really any where to put it so it all got jammed under the seat.
it is plug and play, its just that the Roady (well mine any way) just didn't want to. they make those plugs so they don't accidentally come apart, in fact i dont think they come apart until you have lost some skin and lubricated them with your blood.
