Ok What is an Idea (Link if you can) for a New Rear Rotor?
Not too impressed with the EBC steel one @ 160 bucks (On sale) (I got 50K on mine and it's a little squeeky due to running one set of pads too long)

And anyone who has done a progressive spring set up front and left the bike stock height. How did you like it and what Oil did you use?

Might check with TIM at Metric Magic. He can get new and there's nothing wrong with a used rotor if it's in good shape.

I have no experience with the progressive springs.

I did the progressive spring front and rear at stock height and love it. We do ride two up most of the time also.

Well I see you also have a Fairing, I am considering the Progressive to get rid of some of the vibration in the fairing. proably do it. I have a progressive rear spring and I do like that.

Been afraid to do it as i like the stock springs so much. But if the ride is better. Im in. If it can get any better.

Have you thaught about fork emulators? They will let you tune the dampening to your liking. But its about a $150 part.

I did the progressive spring in the front and used the stock height. I love it. I used Redline 10wt forkoil. expensive but I like redline products. I weigh 3oo so I thought the 10wt would be best for me.

I've got the Progressive HD springs up front. They seemed to work well w/ stock shock & 1000 lbs Eibach spring. When I switched to Progressive 465 shock, The front end feels raked out & very stiff. I plan on adding Gold Emulators & suggested springs. Hopefully it will improve the front end & overall balance

I forgot what Shock I have. I think its the 465 adjustable. No notice on the front end. Actually i like it the way it is. But if it can get smoother Im all for it.

Just after 50 K you know that fork oil is like way overdue for a change. And may as well upgrade while I am at it.

Far as the gold Emulators, Sounds like a lot of hassle to adjust especially if you have a fairing. Thats a lot of crap to take off to adjust something.

this coming from a guy who loves to tinker w/ his ride & has written many tech articles I looked at the emulators @ the bike show & they're like reed valves for forks. They don't look that hard to install. I talkes w/ their tech & he was very helpful in answering all my questions. It seems the most important part is spec'ing them out. Your weight, bike weight, riding style, etc.I hope to find out in a couple of weeks & will report back. Mike, your welcome to take it out for a road test.

Yea I know, Just think I am missing something.
Googles the crap out of the rotor thing and come up dry for a direct stock bolt on. Except the EBC I may have to go with that. What the hey?

Now the forks,
I used to tune the crap out of dirt bike forks in the fish oil days, Ironman must know what I mean, because back then, forks leaked pretty often and got rebuilt a lot.

NOW, They are way more reliable. So much so people like me overlook the maint. on them. Hey, if it aint broke?

So I hear a lot about the progressive springs, just very few who do not change the height. And have a Fairing like me. I must admit the Fairing weight or aerodynamics have changed the way my bike cuts the wind pretty dramatically and for the worse. Like to change that back.

Ill Trust your word about how they do. I firmly believe its not wise to ride someone else's bike. You never know what might happen.

I seen someone slap a crotch rocket into a Wall at about 45 at work. He just wanted to try it. And when he took off, it went full bore and into the brick wall and he and the bike were totaled.
