Yeh, I remember now, one guy made the sweetest dual set-up from stock components... it looked fantastic. A number here said Yamamama should have done it that way in the very first place!

My son formed his own pipes for his Honda 750, but he has a buddy who owns a muffler shop. He then wrapped the pipes. Looks ok, I personally like Chrome but to each his own.

I've been seriously contemplating this also with my stock exhaust also sense its just lying around taking up space. Id'e love a set of true duels but they cost so dam much and the parts to build it would be much cheaper I think. Let us know how it goes and if ya can and have time do a wright up and pics as you go would be great.
Gook luck

Rphazen made his duals using Bassani head pipes and stock mufflers.
I think a good muffler shop would be able to make the duals fairly easy, of course you'd have to wrap them or find somewhere to do the chrome which might get expensive. I had a muffler shop put dual exhaust on my Bronco from the header to the rear bumper for $212. That wasn't including the Flowmaster muffler I ordered from Summit Racing.
I never thought of trying it, but it's a pretty good idea to try and make a custom set. Think I may take my bike to the shop that put the exhaust on my truck and see what they tell me.

I'd like to make the entire set just because the finish difference the two pipes will have because im putting stretched harley bags on and the exhaust will need to be longer than normal. There is a shop about 20 minutes away from me that does powder coating and thats what I plan on having done. Not sure if he can do the chrome or black chrome yet but there is always black if all else fails.
