My progresive lowering springs came with the pvc spacers that you needed to cut down.

I jut did the progressive springs 2 weeks ago. I purchased the kit to keep it @ stock height and the paper said to cut the spacers to 6.5 inches. However, the mechanic and I decided to do itthe way it described in the instruction paperwork. We ended up cutting about .5 to .75 inches off that 6.5 inches. The directions I received with my springs were contradictory. The set I purchased came with 1 inch schedule 40 pvc pipe to use as spacers.

Also, the instruction paperwork also said that the fork oil should be at 5.5 inches instead stock which I think is around 4.3 inches. When we measured it out with the tape measure we got that 16.5 oz of fork oil got us to the 5.5 inch mark.

Cody let me know how that project goes because I have been thinking about doing it myself. I need to change the fork oil, and figured I might as well lower it with the progressive springs while I have them off.

Unab8d: Whatd you think about the install? Pretty easy to do?

The hardest part is getting the fork caps back on. Well worth the time and effort. Now I need to do the rear to balance the ride out. The rear feels like it bounces around more now, but that's because the Progressive Springs are stiffer.
