Nice boots. I'm almost afraid to admit it, but I wear a pair of Harley Davidson boots that I bought for $29.99 at least 25 years ago from Sportsmans Guide. They are very old-school looking compared to today's styles, but are still hang-tough boots. In the past couple of years the soles started seperating, and I found some heavy-duty shoe glue used by shoe repair shops online and glued the soles back together. Those boots are still wearable! I remember it took about 5 years before they were really broke in. If you take care of your boots they will last a long long time... the boots in my signature pic are my 'other' pair of riding boots- Chippewas, also bought from Sportsmans Guide about 8 years ago. Just getting broken in....

Don't why you're worried about the HD boots, John. I know that there are some here that are (almost militantly) anti-Harley, but, the boys from Milwaukee do put their name on some very nice products.

My favorite hat is a "crusher" style small brimmed black Cowboy hat. It fits nicely in my bags and keeps its shape. It's great to bring for lunch stops on those rides in the cooler months.

I've also got a very nice pair of riding gloves with the Bar-Shield on them.

I mean, I don't think I'd be sportin' a set of black & orange leathers, but, I wouldn't a little thing like a logo keep me from enjoying my hat or gloves.

I agree. It seems that the older stuff is of better quality. I found some HD boots, good leather and very comfortable. Made in China but isn't everything nowadays?

I wear HD Engineer boots. $160 but I found them on eBay for $59. 3 yrs old...42k miles and. About to have em re-soled for $50 and go another 40k miles. I also occasionally wear Harley t-shirts and have Harley gloves. So what? I have a T-shirt from Boeing and I don't fly jets...Buccaneers t-shirts and I don't play pro football.....a pink tie and I'm not gay. So what's it matter? The only jacket I've got my eye on is a Harley jacket that has the Willy G. skull on back embossed in black thread that glows white when the light hits it at night. I care not one bit that I don't ride a Harley. Harley leather is quality and if you time it right you can catch a sale and a great price.
