Who me? Oh, I was a real dumb-butt as a youth. Lost my license 4 times!!! Many different offenses.
And all that while I was still just a teen! I didn't begin to pull my act together until after I turned 20... and only then after I decided only God could fix me up and make me right!

Cody, if Everyone on here fessed up to all their "Stupid" mistakes that they have made in their lives, we could write a book thicker than War and Peace! Me included. Here in 'The People's Republic of California' anything 15 MPH over the speed limit is considered a Misdemeanor and is punishable by up to a $500 fine and / or 6 months in Jail. normally you get a big fine and a slap on the wrist, because our Jails are so over crowded they are releasing criminals everyday long before their time is served. Just Sayin. Contact a GOOD Traffic Lawyer, your chances are better!

Not sure your exact circumstances. Truly depends. In this case I'd spend the cash for a lawyer that specializes in traffic offenses or else you will end up paying a big fine and huge insurance increases.
Yeah I know from experience. Ever try passing a CHP officer on the shoulder in the fog doing 70 on a sweet Norton Commando? Don't!  I told him it was foggy and I couldn't see him. We both laughed as he wrote up my future for the next few years......it really was a sweet Norton though. |

My first thought on reading all of the posts in this thread is to wonder if I really want to be associated with such A$$ WHOLES that would make such negative wishing comments to Cody. My only hope is that the negative Karma you expressed toward Cody comes back on each of you 10 fold!!!
Since only about 3 or 4 people posting on this thread actually know the road Cody is talking about, I will enlighten you narrow minded pea brained lying SOB.s who propose through your posting you are perfect and have NEVER gone 1mph over the speed limit; The road is an actual Highway US 60 and runs diagonally through the metro phoenix area Northwest. During rush hour, morning and night I have personally witnessed people in cages doing upwards of 90mph or more in a 45mph zone. Is this in any way justification for what Cody did, no it isnt, but for any of you to wish this young man ill when he started this thread to ask for advice from supposed friends just makes my blood boil and every one of you should have your heads examined!!!
Cody, several years ago a buddy of mine was getting a hummer driving up blackcanyon hill and the better it got the faster he went ... he go stopped for criminal speeding and went to court up in BCC I think. I will give him a call this afternoon after he is off work and see if he can offer any advice. Look forward to meeting you one of these days bud.

Ok, I hope you get off scott free, maybe the judge will buy you lunch also. Hopefully your insurance will go down and everybody will fell better because you haven't learned a thing. Typical of this day and age, nobody is accountable for their actions.
