I read last night that the 2.0 and 2.4 require a 300 amp battery.
Thanks for all the info guys!
What determines the Top or Angled Post? Does that have something to do with the frame and where/how the starter is mounted?
My stock starter and Thunderfire starter are both top post. Can't give you any info on the angle post.
Thanks, moreland4!
How did you figure out that you needed a Top Post? How would I know which one my 2000 R* would take?

Well, I'm all set to go with the full modification. Already installed the MaxAir Firewires, and I'm definitely going to get the Warrior relay.
I still have one problem. I don't know how to determine whether I need the "Top Post" or "Angled Post" version of the Thunderfire Starter. Does anyone know how to determine that?

The link I posted to Phatperformance will give you the model numbers for the 4 choices Thunderfire makes for the R*, All are top post.

Haven't been able to get to the site for Phat Performance for two days. Any other reputable retailers out there selling the Thunderfire starters?
