ok so a buddy of mine has a handgun from way back in the day i forgot what year it was made but its like turn of the centery old. it was given to him by his grandfather (original owner) via his last will and testiment. anyway he has taken it to a few gun shops and every one of them is a buzz about it because they dont know what it is and never seen anything like it. they all think it could have been a prototype handgun that never came out. anyway the gun itself is very unique in design its a .25cal handgun with 2 barrels over under style the revolver hold 4 shots but its not a normal shape, it stacks the 4 shot in a straight line one on top of the other so its like a 3/8" x 1 1/2" rectangle. you pull the trigger and it will shot the top barrel pull again and the bottom barrel will fire then there is a detent that you push down to unlock the revolver and you pivit it 180 degrees and you can shoot 2 more times. i know its not a pic but i dont have a pic of it otherwise i would post it for you guys. he has been trying to figure out what it is for some time now and is getting frustrated that he can't find out. heck a few of the shops offered him a very large amount for the handgun, big enough to buy a newer used car with big

I collect old Colts from around the turn of the last century and I know something of the era.
You have to remember that there were a LOT more manufacturers back then and even more "inventors" playing around.
I know a few good firearm historians who could probably help you.
Send me a PM, and I'd love to see a picture of that thing!
And tell your friend NOT to take any offers until he has a least two good opinions on the piece.

\"There he goes. One of God\'s own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production.

Nope thats not it that gun has 4 barrels not two (thats the gun rodiemort posted above). Take that gun get rid of the bottom two barrels and give it a 4 shot in line revolver that you manually rotate the revolver only after 2 shots and you got it
