At that point if you have everything, you're no more than 1-1.5hr from complete reassembly. Only one of the valves per rocker is adjustable by screw IIRC, the other is fixed. I just made sure they were both touching at the same time. I kind of miss doing the rebuild, it was pretty fun, but I'm definitely happy i'm done and she's on the road.

Re:New Member Disillusioned With Bike :( 12 Months ago
Well finally had the bike alltogether yesterday and was ready to break in the new cam and lifters this morning, however i received some bad news about my Grandfathers passing overnight and by the time i decided to get out and clear my head on the bike i had forgotten to change the old oil filter, so i ended up going for a short ride of about 12 miles / 20 klm`s with the new oil but using the old filter, i hope this wont be a problem. I ended up travelling that distance pretty much in 2nd gear the whole way at a speed of around 50 MLPH / 80 KPH , I have come home and all seems good so far, no noises or oil leaks so im feeling better about that, when i drained the oil there was some crap that had stuck to the new magnetic drain plugs and i guess that may be the case for the next few oil changes. Im also finding it quite difficult to buy Mobil 1 V Twin here so i just ordered 12 Quarts off Ebay and will have to wait for the delivery before i go any further, so a big "Thank You" to all who contributed to this post and lets hope the old oil filter or anything else doesnt comes back to bite me
