I hope everyone who had to deal with the severe storms today came through unharmed. We had hail here the size of golf balls and some tennis ball size,along with a tornado that didn't reach the ground. Had some minor damage to the house and a few dents in my old truck. But all and all very thankful it was no worse.

About the same here. Course, I am only about 20 miles from you, Greysnake. Was violent for awhile today, but escaped unharmed. Some other places close to us not near as fortunate as us.

NW Ohio here- storms and rain all day, and we're now getting 50+ mph winds. Was bumping my old Chevy Silverado 1/2 ton all over the road a little while ago. Now my whole house is shaking (and it's a brute of a house- 165 years old, massive, and built with pegged barn beams 12-18" square) Weird weather.....

We're supposed to get warm weather tomorrow with rain & possible thunderstorms, but we rarely get twisters here because of the hills.
I have seen the damage on tv this afternoon even as it was happening and the extent of it is unreal. My heart goes ut to those that are affected by these storms.

Thundersnow & 8" of very slippery wet heavy snow on top of ice today. 30 miles of Interstate @ about 30 mph in near whiteout conditions was no fun. Snowfall rate was about 2"/hr so it was coming down hard & blowing too. I-94 was a study in towtruck recovery methods the whole way. Fun.  |

Well crap... due to the tornadoes that came though tonight, I can't work on my bike... dangit man... our little town of Murphy got hit pretty hard and we lost power... tornadoes dropping down like the rain... got a lotta cleanup to do around here now... we are good though... got plenty of bottle water and food... just gotta wait it out... hope everyone else is ok
