Well started out putting new ported intake on and jetting the carb, buggered that up. Have a leak on the carb somewhere and just to dark to mess with. So tried to go back to OEM taillight and turn signals, buggered that up too. I was hopeful that the 07 stuff would bolt on to my 02 NOT. Now don't know what I'm going to do. Just a real fun day and night. |

changed the oil & filter. switched from royal purple to mobil 1 vtwin. mobil quieten the tick down ALOT. i will use mobil 1 from now own.

Saturday,it was sunny and about 63 degrees f. couldn't stand it any more and kissed the wife on the cheek and went for a 70 mile ride before having to go in to work,rode it to work and the H-D dogs,started in on me again.I told them I didn't see their bikes out in the parking lot?
They made some excuses of why they didn't ride in,and I just said"cut the crap, MOMMA wouldn't let you!"
After work"midnight"they were there while I was letting the Road* warm up,and making the stupid remarks as,Hey!I smell rice!L.O.L.
The thing that they don't remember is I worked on all of their rice rods a few years back,before they bought their H-D's.
One owned a Kawasaki and the other owned a Suzuki,v-twins,They are younger than me and own H-D's but still punks in my book.
There is a fine line between ignorance and intelligence! And they show it every day.
I told one of them if he wanted"I would call his house and ask his o'l lady if he could come out and ride tomorrow?" all he could say is"f.u."then I L.O.L. and said to the other hey whats your phone number and i will call your o'l lady too,and ask?they both just walked away!

Mounted up my new rear michelin commander ii yesterday and about to go put the wheel back on my scoot. Can't wait to see how it handles. The tread on it is about twice as deep as the pirelli had on it new.

Yesterday, Hard mounted soft bags (custom redneck mounting system), replaced my tailight, relocated my bullet turn signals (on account of the bag) and helped my cuz replace a thermostat on his vtx. And of course we consumed a fair amount of brews!

Today, I am adjusting my valves and doing an oil change.... then to try to finish up the pinstripes on my graphix...

installed new air cleaner
some new chrome lowers
and bought a 42 mm carb.
can't wait to get the carb and finish getting all the cable and everything else that I will need to get it installed. Going to port the manifold when I install the new carb.
Any help on cables would be great. |
