I made a telescoping pole (so they could stow it on a bike trailer) for a bunch going to Naked Iowa a couple years ago. They were giving shots away for pole dances

Ok this is it:
I have essentially 2 or 3 choices for hotels:

About the only difference between them is that one has a pool, etc and is NON SMOKING

The other one allows smoking but has no pool

Please give me some input. I will make the choice this weekend so we can all get reservations.

Like it's a bike gathering, I don't recall us really using a pool at any past events. It could get ugly.

When I used to go to Climbing gatherings with my X wife, (Hate to have to remind myself of that) They found a LODGE wherever they were to meet, they all chipped in on the Lodge, they landed with food and beverages, They owned the whole deal, Fire, Beds linen and kitchen area was there, showers, it was way too cool. Too bad we can't do something like that.

Far as hotels, They will only do so much for a group, and I have not been to a M&G where the roms were really reasonable or discounted. Hotel Clerks, Managers BS you, period, I have hours and hours and hours listening to them BS potential customers. (I stay in hotels 3 to 5 times a week for work) It's Poker to them.

They will rent one guy a room for cheap, and will not budge for the next. It's all in what you say and who your talking to.

Climbers are sorta next to mountain Bikers in the way they do things. Not sure Bikers are up to it. ah well. Pin the map, we will be there. Unless someone Pulls out in front of us.

Yeah I don't care which way you go either Johnny. We probably won't use the pool anyway, although the hot tub was nice after a day of riding. But I used to smoke and I know how much of a pain it is to find the "designated area".
