Re:BEST SOUNDING EXHAUST? 1 Year, 2 Months ago

Interesting post USAFR.

Since I have heard a couple Roadies with 2 into 1's and thought they sounded great. I would have thought you might have listed a 2into1 since you have one on your 110.

Any particular reasons you didn't include them? AT

Simple answer, I sold that pipe for the Jug huggers and that 2-1 pipe is the Hard Krome xcellerator that is no longer made. If they still made it, I would highly recommend it.

for a deep loud rumble with a bad ass attitude that sounds better then most harleys, i would highly recomend the hard chrome 3" pipes. i ride with alot of harley guys ,most of them being baggers. they all would agree that my pipes stand out .

I personnally like the sound of stock stage 3 but not particularly crazy about the looks though.

I love idling through the homeland security checkpoint and when they wave me through I blip the throttle hard
Sounds like a damn Bomb went off and they all hit the deck even after seven years of doing it daily
I just can't get enough of that.... BOOM! lol

I have the V&H propipe on mine and wouldn't change a thing about the sound. Not too loud but gets attention, but quite if I want it to be. I'm not as much a fan of the 2-1 look, but the sound and the extra power make it worth it for me.

I gotta say it... the best I'd heard so far was a stock exhaust that had been Stage 3'd, the baffling gutted.

I'm gonna gut one myself and try it... just for the sound of it, and see if it's what I want.

I have the V&H 2 into 1 Pro Pipe on both of mine, but the sound is only okay, but the power is great!

But, since one of my V&H systems is faulty, with a broken and rattling baffle... if they won't make it right, I'm going to experiment with a couple of other exhausts.
