Here is a few pictures of mine installed. It was from a Roadking with only 2 mounting holes. I cut the top part off and mounted it to the bottom hole with chrome washers and a black rubber washer and its been on for 5000 miles and all good. It works good enough for me for now.

I will try to get a couple pics for you tomorrow. I put mine on but only have about 2000 miles on them. No cracks so far. I got a chrome spacer, think it was about 1/2 inch. I also put some rubber washers behind to dampen the vibration a little.

Thank you.

Yeah they do crack at the second hole. i took mine off and took them to work, drilled 1/16" relief holes at each end of the cracks and TIG welded the crack. When I remounted them I incorporated rubber washeers and plastic spacers. I think they should work another season without further cracking........still going to build a set like Curt's, though.

BTW the relief cracks are nearly invisible since they are on the mounting side of the lowers. Me and the guy watching me are the only ones that know they exist....well now all of you know..........dammit

Thank you for the reply.
Where did you pick up the plastic spacers and rubber washers, Home Depot/Lowes?

Thank you for the pics. I never would have thought that one bolt would hold them with all the wind.
Beautiful bike by the way.

I don't know if you can see it my sigpic but I bent the tops of the ones I had over a 1/4" rod so they mounted to the Yamaha lowers holes. They never cracked, I guess because of the doubled up mounting.

Here is a few pics of my lowers mounted. The one taken from the rear shows the chrome spacer up top with a couple rubber washers behind a chrome washer. Hope this helps.

Great pictures. I have a good idea now of how they should go. I almost installed them backwards Where did you find the nice chrome spacers?

I got them at Ace Hardware. Menards is also now carrying a pretty good selection of chrome hardware. You will like them. Before I installed them I couldn't ride over about 50 mph. The wind came up and bounced my glasses all over my nose.
