I made it from a stock grip end. Just used jb weld putty and a key. it fits perfectly. It was great when the dash was chrome, and now it's even better now that it's painted.

Since I decided to paint the dash to match the tank, I wanted to remove the stock rubber trim. I created a new "seal" using weatherstripping and 3M double-sided tape.

Nick, that is looking great. Did you have to upgrade the stator and reg with the added stereo?

I didn't add a stereo, just the Kuryakyn "Sound of Chrome" handlebar speakers. I use my phone (Droid 3) with the car dock for my audio source. It seems to work fine, although I haven't actually ridden it yet.

started the fab work on the saddlebag brackets. Since SS Custom Cycles wants to charge $400!!!! for them, we decided to make our own.
