only one groove on stock needle multi groove stock needle for down under Baron and DJ both 6 groove (6yr old DJ fatter and 5 groove) Baron and DJ almost the same taper Baron and DJ length, DJ shorter by thickness of one washer (e-clip set in same groove, spacer 1 washer..DJ is 1/2 step richer) Baron and DJ use stock pilot due to diameter of straight portion of needle
