I used some Burr bits on the end of an air drill to clean out the jagged edges. Took some time but when finished you cant tell anything was there before. Good luck

Thanks for the vid yamahog7. Should be useful for others thinking about doing the mod.

I've been out the game for over 20yrs. So I bought a new Raider S and was going to replace the exhaust but the stock one's are really growing on me. They cover up the rear and go with the flo of the bike. Two questions Can this new system be done the same way as you guy's have did yours? And if so, how would it affect the warranty? Not really that mechanical and would have to find someone to pay so I wouldn't screw things up. Any idea's? Wow! how things have changed since the late 60's and 70's!! My old bikes never had these new fangled front disc brakes before!! Ha ha Having a ball, my wife sez it's the mid-life crisis (It's more like a 3/4 life crisis cuz I won't last another 61 years)

I can't tell you about the Raider pipes. I haven't even seen one in person yet but you can try this site. They might be able to help you. Congrats on the Raider
