Re:Ordered my Reckless 3 Years, 1 Month ago
Not bad. Ordered on Friday got it on Wednesday. Thought I received the wrong brackets but contacted Alex and he was very cool and helpful. Quality seems good. Shipping was as fast as could be. Good primer. There are some things I am going to improve, but I am very happy with it. Remember, this certainly was not an expensive fairing caompared to just about all others.
Already contacted my painter, gonna match the bags. I'll post again when I do.

Thinking of ordering me one also. Talked to Alex today said they will have the inside piece that accepts 6x9 speakers by the end of the month.Did you have to order the thicker bracket that they talk about on their website?

The stock bracket seems just fine. I was going to wait for the 6x9 but he had some open bid on ebay, so for $305 I didn't wait.

Mounting was easy. Seems very sturdy. Brought it to the painter and we came up
with some great ideas. Have to get the stereo in first though. I'll order that today.
Harley bra just there to protect the primer.

Good idea on the bra, where did you find one that fit? And, does it fit well? Thanks

Its good too see it, I seen it b4 on here but forgot that you had ordered the reckless.

I just order one and it is supposed to ship this week but I am getting the stereo that they use with it I figure it will be ok to try and read some good reviews on the system they use. chacing down the system, it's new to them too

I have to get it to the painter so he can try and get it painted.

Only bad news its for my new strat and I sure miss the Road* all the time I put into making it mine.. well just have to start over..lol..

Re:Ordered my Reckless 2 Years, 7 Months ago
Going to order one in about a week. 5" or 6x9???

If 5" what do you think of their speakers (http://recklessmotorcycles.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=46), look nice, just want something that sounds awesome!

Thinking of http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_20506_Sony+CDX-GT640UI.html for stereo.

Appreciate opinions on speakers? I've heard so many crappy speaker setups; that are so distorted (especially at high volumes). I don't want that.

I eventually plan on putting on a HD tour pack with speaker pods.

Thanks guys!
