UPDATE:

completed photos are found on page 6 of this thread

--------

I've come into a little extra cash and have decided to blow it all on a bagger transformation.

This is what I am starting with:

Re:2003 Silverado (Anniversary Edition) to Bagger 1 Year, 2 Months ago
first thing was to strip it and get those parts ready for paint.

I'm painting the tank, front fender, side covers, dash and headlight bucket. I'm also ordering a Memphis Shades Batwing, as well as a rear fender and saddlebags from SS Custom Cycle.

Since I am sick of wearing my Bluetooth headphones, I decided to get some handlebar speakers. After much research, I decided on the Kuryakyn Sound of Chrome system. I didn't want a stereo that came off with the fairing, because I plan ride w/out the fairing sometimes.

$270 shipped. eBay.

Next I thought I'd replace the stock grips with Kuryakyn ISO grips with contoured Throttle Boss. While I had the grips removed, I decided I should polish the control levers, mounts and brake fluid reservoir.

ISO Grips: $60 shipped. eBay.

(Throttle Boss not yet installed in this photo)

Next step was the exhaust. Bassani True Dual headers and slant cut mufflers.

I looked and looked for the best deal and I found it over at Chrome-Addiction.com.

I decided to clean up the back end and remove all of the stock parts from the fender. I chose the Baron SOLO light and license as my replacement. It's exactly like the Arlen Ness/RWD version, except it was cheaper and comes complete with everything (including load eq).

I bought it from Phat Performance Parts for $260

Here is a video of it working.
