Just got off the phone with my wife, her mom was ran over by someone backing out of a parking lot she now has a broken arm and my 4 year old was with her. He almost got ran over too but he looked at the last second and jumped back when he seen the car coming. my mother in law said. She never even seen the car she was going so fast. She seen my son jump back and then she was on the ground with a car on top of her. I know she is hurt bad but I cant help but think my son was a half second from sure death. Im shaking and next to tears wondering if I can Finnish my work shift. I drive semi truck and need to make sure my head is clear to do my job safely. Furtunately im in a dock for the next 1.5hrs so maybe I can calm down before I need to leave. Maybe its a good thing I didn't have a belt pulley rite now cause im sure I would have been with the guys riding the tail of the dragon and would have fliped out and road straight home. All I can say is the lady driving the car is lucky I wasn't there cause I dont know how I would have reacted to the aftermath im sure I would have lost my self controll.
