No, the mechanic only said that the exhaust valves were only functioning at 60%. He swapted out the black box but this did not improve the running of the motor. He did find that a plug that was supposed to be on the lower part of the carburator was missing (smog removed before I purchased bike). He replugged it but it did not improve things at all. I will check the manifold for leaking as SKWEARpeg suggest. The bike is running so bad that I'm surprized that it starts and run at all. As I stated earlier I can only get the rpm's up to about 1200! This problem withthe bike came on all of a sudden one morning after starting it up, had been running great up till then. Thanks, Bob
