I actually prefer the "seat of the pants" gains of suspension work to ANYTHING I've ever managed on power output. Dollar for dollar at least. Can't see spending 10 percent of the cost of the bike on 10 percent of power gain that I probably cannot utilize. 5-7% on suspension that I can use every single mile, now that's a return on investment!

That's why my SV650 has stock exhaust but Race Tech suspension. When the warden lets me go home, Race Tech is going on the front of the Road Star.

Then, the 79 XS650 Special becomes VERY special!
