The progress continues, the doctors are amazed at what is happening with her. Just got this from Percy.
Today, Chance (Haylie's dad) told Haylie three times to grab his hand and she wiggled her right leg, then wiggled her left leg, then wiggled her right hand and grabbed his hand. So that means she can follow a command. She is pretty consistent with her progress. Everyday something new. Thank God.
Haylie's family thanks all for their prayers and support and ask all that can to continue to do so.

I'm starting a Catholic prayer process for her that is called a Novena. That is many, many prayers under deep contemplation for the will of God to be done.

Thank you all for your prayers and concern. here is the latest update.
her dad said that it seemed like she tried to make a sound with her voice today but wasn't to clear about it. She's looking around and he said he's sure she knows who he is. The doctors are going to put in a "trach", the hole in the throat to help with breathing. She should be in therapy in about two weeks. I'm thinking that this is where we will start to see what that part of her brain that was damaged was/is controlling.
At this point she pretty much out of the woods as far as survival. Now it is going to be determined about her quality of life from here on.
