The horn is made of black plastic. It's below the pulley cover & alittle further back, mounted on the frame.
LOL I was going to say something about the horn going 'toot toot' when you push the horn button but on the RS it's more of a low tone bike fart

JUst had my new 465 installed on the rear of my 2000 Roadstar...luv the ride.....here's the BUT...when I got down on the floor to adjust my 1-5 dial....I found that my mechanic installed it upside down...clicker on the right side of the bike...nitrogen screw on the bottom of the shock.....Now I'm ok with adjusting from the right side as I have already accomplished that. What I want to know...is will this affect life of shock, warranty or daily function. I don't have a clearance issue that I am aware of at this point.. Thanks

Glad you like the product! Position does not matter on that shock, so you are fine. Would love to have a pic of you and the biek for FB! Send to news@progressivesuspension.com

as stated earlier, it does not matter if clicker is on left or right but red screw (port) must be up or on the top position.

So I'm all set on this one (even went back and flipped the shock over), but uhhh...the bike looks way high. Is that even possible? Like I can see a lot of daylight between the tire and fender. I'm going from memory but I would put money down that it's sitting higher now.

Will cranking the preload down impact this at all?

I'm already starting to kick myself for not going the lowered route.

back off on the pre-load & see if it drops. Going w/ the lowered set up, more stuff will drag sooner

Ok so the ride with this thing on is incredible! Finally got on the highway, and I realized that my hands were feeling bumps through the bars that my a$$ wasn't feeling at all! I ride through a pretty rough patch of I75 thats all torn up for construction, and this was amazing. This is one of the few things I can point to and say that I totally got my moneys worth.

So far all I've done is back down the pre-load from the factory setting a turn or so. It might be a little too soft now, I haven't decided. Haven't messed with the dial yet, and not sure I'll have to. Have to give 2-up a go and see.

when i first rode mine after install, it was kind of like sitting on a sponge but I did not bottom out. I tightened the preload a little. The ride is a little harder now but I prefer that over riding on a sponge lol - My clicker is still on 3.
