Have to log in or sign up, register your bike, and so on. However not all recalls are recorded, which is where the next option comes in.

Also, turn your wheel to the far left, if the vin tag has been partially defaced and/or removed, it has. They remove the 4th digit IIRC once they do the recall.

Advantage, power, and your junk grows about an inch or two.
Disadvantage, your wallet looses an inch or so. It's about $1500 in parts for the pistons, heads, valves, springs, cams, lifters, and pushrods.

If you wanted to sell the R* and buy a roadliner or stratoliner for more power, it's a cost efficient option, because you will spend more than twice what you spent on the engine, to get a bigger bike after you part with the roadstar. Also, if you're getting up there in the miles, it provides some definite peace of mind.
