the good is you are only paying for the parts and starting the set up for more intense preformce mods

the valve spring are good to have to help when you have a dynatek3000 and raise the rev limiter but while the heads are off have them ported and polished even decked pistons go with the wisco not the speedstar made by je the wisco are light a higher compression and cost less also have the valve thier tripple cut or even a five cut

this with pipes air kit ported intake is a great set up and later on you are ready for cams and change the jetted carb for a 42msr

the bike doesn't wear out any faster due to the cyclinder walls being nsc (nickel silicon carbide)not steel lined (like hd)or ceramic lined. yamaha uses the term ceramic coating as a ganeric term.

recall years 99-03 do not count on the punch mark call 800-962-7926 ext.3 give them the vin you can also find out were and when your bike was first sold so you can take down a maintaince history
