Re:which engine guard? 11 Months, 4 Weeks ago
I was going to buy a set of the Lindby bars but one day I just happened to stop at the local Yamaha dealer and they told me they were going out of business. The owner said he had a set of brand new MC Enterprises highway bars still in the box that he'd let me have for $110. I couldn't refuse that price so I jumped on the deal. I wasn't too sure about the looks of them until I got them on my bike and now I love them. Only took a few minutes to install too.

I have the Cobra fatty, tried them out too.
If you get a set of these you don't need to extend the foot rest.

Haven't tried it but it doesn't look like it will work. If it will, somebody please let me know.

Re:which engine guard? 11 Months, 3 Weeks ago
i just put the r* down yesterday and bent the engine guards (they were a life and bike saver) i had the str-5vn31-20-00 guards on and i'm wondering if i can replace them with a STR-4WM31-20-00 from a 2003 1600 ? i have a 2004 1700. i can pick the 1600 ones up for about a $100.00 less is why i'm asking.
thanks
