I worked for a self insured company awhile back. One of the biggest threats they preached about in the health and safety dept., was the improper use of ladders. Be it setting a ladder on a slick surface, improper lean ratio, over reaching, using to short of a ladder, or people leaning step ladders against a wall, instead of opening them.
Having said that, I busted my left heel bone into about 5 pieces 6 years ago, when I slide off a roof, because I didn't put the toe board back on. You may be in the "great examples of the wrong things to do" line, but your not alone
The worst part, is the inactivity
That, and everybody will start asking you for weather reports.
On the bright side, you should have plenty of time to hone your posting skills. Blondes, brunettes, girls with three, maybe even the real Morgan Fairchild instead of what's his name
Stay off of it, it'll heal faster.
