you should take it off right away and send it to me, maybe I'll send you my wreckless in return

It might just end up on ebay...
that way I can get hard bags and maybe duals!
how did you mount it? I love the look of the road glide fairing!
It is mounted at the engine guard in two places, and I made a bracket that goes from the fairing bracket plate to the frame. You can see the plate in the bottom pic.
If I have the chance I may tack-weld a small piece of steel to the front of the frame where the fork pivots, and make another bracket to mount to the plate.

The Roadglide look has really grown on me over the years. There been quite a surge in the bagger mags coverage of roadglides. I would think it would cut through the air better with out so much handlebar effort like the windshield or batwing.
Before ya sell it can ya give us a quick review on wind protection, buffeting, etc with the Roadglide fairing. I'm not sure if ya had a windshield, batwing or just neked before.
Went for a nice ride today, and it seems to be growing on me. I adjusted the fairing, it was too far forward. It definitely makes for a nice ride, feels pretty solid.
Not really sure what buffeting is; I can feel wind when I ride, the windscreen is pretty short. But it's still 10x easier than riding with no fairing or windshield at all.
When I ride through the canyon I can tell there's crosswinds, and the bike rides nice and straight. With the windshield I did feel like I was tossed around a bit.
I think I'm going to keep it. Just need to find an inexpensive stereo. Already got about $800 invested.

If you went all the way and did the hard bags. I think you would fall in love with the look. BTW you did a great job there.
