That really looks great. I am in the process of gathering the pars to put one on. Did you get your parts from eBay? Did you have to do anything with cables or brake lines? I am a little intimidated by the electrical part of it what did you do for blinkers? Thanks

I also like the look I searched for a Roadglide fairing myself and like you say they were expensive so I settled on the Streetglide one and finally landed one cheap and in nice shape to boot after I lost many in bidding on EBay.

Poishdog: I see you are in Tustin, I am in L.A. maybe I could see your ride up close.

No problem, however, I am no longer in Tustin, we moved about 20 miles south; now in Rancho Santa Margarita. Not far from Cook's Corner. Let me know when you want to see it.

I wouldn't mind checking out your saddlebag setup, something I would like to get, real soon.

Yes, I would like to see your bike. Maybe we can meet at cook's corner?

I got almost all the parts from ebay, some the Harley dealership.
Outer fairing - ebay
Inner fairing - Road Glide forums classifieds
Radio mount bracket - dealership
Headlight assembly - dealership
Fairing brackets - ebay
Inside fairing bracket - homemade
Headlight 2-into-1 cable harness - ebay

I did not need to change any cables or brake line routing.

I am using these for now, for the blinkers:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cateye-Turn-Signals-For-Harley-Sportster-XL-883-1200-Touring-FLH-Road-Glide-King-/180892635303?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a1e0a90a7&vxp=mtr

Planning on upgrading the blinkers to something like this:
http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/index.cgi?action=DispPage&Page2Disp=%2Fspecs%2F1157-R19W6_motorcycle_bulb.htm

The only electrical work required is maybe extending the wires for the turn signals, depending on which ones you use. You unplug your old turn signals, and plug in the new ones. At least that's what I was able to do with the Cateye ones. Only problem is, they come from China and I had to wait about a month.

I saw Polishdog's bike in person not too long ago. I think the fairing looks great, especially when the holes get fill in with goodies!
