Sassy/Grinder:

Sounds like a great M&G coming together.

Just out of curiosity, would you guys have a place to park a truck and bike trailer at your place?

Ask moreland4 ... he has been there... we live at the top of a mountain on a dead end drive that is paved all the way up to my garage... no worries with anyone tampering with it...

I never thought about some of us might need parking for trucks and trailers..... I got plenty of room for that too if that helps.....
And yes, where I live is a very safe area....

was anything decided on the exact dates?

Where I work, the calendar days off are the big deal. That has to be sent in a request months in advance.

curious minds want to know

Re:WNC Meet and Greet 1 Year ago
well thats a trip all rite ever ride it before?

I ride it pretty often. Im in Spartanburg S.C., about an hour down I26 from Asheville. If you are gonna ride it you might as well go up the Diamondback to the parkway, hang a left and then ride down the Devils Whip aka The Devils Staircase. I may have to try and make it to this meet and greet. I posted a link to both..... I also love how Grinder calls it Deals Gap. You can tell the people from around here, its still Deals Gap. To everybody else its The Dragon. Lotta good roads up and around in that area that most of the folks not from around here don't know about, if I make it be glad to show you some....with a few mandatory beer stops thrown in, which is required.

Just noticed they have the ride I was talking about on the diamondback webpage, click on the Diamondback Loop...it has both roads on it. I usually go back down thru Black Mountain and down to Lake Lure
(Dirty Dancing, Last of the Mohicans movies)on my way back to the house.
