1 1/4 alum bar, turned down to 1 1/8 at the top,7/8" on the bottom to fit into the quick release bracket, 1/2" plate welded to the bar, polish welds, mounts with 4 bolts to quick release bracket then the whole assembly removes from the bike with the key same as quick release backrest.more expensive to build than the regular one. i dont have time to make a bunch of these, not till i finish my ride, mort
