Good stereo for a low price? 1 Year ago
Thinking about getting one, for the fairing. Can Anyone recommend something, for a low budget? Doesn't have to be a ridiculous high power system.

Thanks!

Is this worth buying?

Just be careful of what ya buy when it say Marine ready. My 1st was the low end Sony marine ready water resistant, well to make it Marine ready, all they did was place a piece of plastic on top of the unit. There are some that will say water resistant, and that is not the same as waterproof. There are 3 or 4 levels of water proof as well and they use a spec number to indicate it. I have a Jensen, a waterproof front, and chassis is water resistant, front is not removable and uses a triple gasket to keep water out. The best one I had seen was fully waterproof, stainless steel housing that had no venting, huge heatsink on back though, a mechanical damper for the CD player plus an electronic damper for it as well, ran close to 500 bucko's.
Another nice thing I like about the Jensen, there is no wire hooked to the hot side of battery to maintain memory and clock, so zero drain on battery when sitting in garage

Stop
Stop
Stop looking... Buy this one!

I have it in my wreckless, it kicks ass. It has bluetooth, you can control it from your phone with the included phone app, it has dual USB, Aux, includes external microphone, no cd to mess up and no detachable faceplate thet the contacts mess up with the vibration.

111 people rated it five out of five stars... AND IT'S ONLY 99 BUCKS AT CRUTCHFIELD!

I have the same as Steve, nice but didn't really need the bluetooth there's a model without the bluetooth with all the same features for about 20 less.
