So tell what you found out. Why won't it work?

Curt:
The teeth don't mesh properly as the 1600 belt rolls over the 1700 front pulley. Sometimes, only 50% seat down properly.

I took it up the driveway and it spun around the pulley if I goosed it. I knew by the way it looked, it wasn't going to go well...

Didn't think about that. I had been looking at a couple of things at Phat Performance and saw that the pulleys were the same for both. Sorry about that and I hope you can get it worked out. Too nice of a bike to be sitting still.

Thanks, brotha.

I appreciate that.

Do you think it might be the difference between the 33 tooth and the 32 tooth that causes it?

Don't know, Curt.

I'm hoping somebody has an old front pulley so I can try.

I'd be extremely grateful if somebody would be willing to part with one...

Jay, I appreciate that, brotha. I'll let you know in a few days.

But, for whatever reason, my "pay if forward" thing I've practiced here at the Clinic really isn't paying off when I need something...

I'm just not in the mood to pay $75.00 for a 10-year old pulley on Ebay right now.

So, if anybody has one for sale, please IM me.
