Having been born outside of the US, to two parents who were both US citizens, I don't have any trouble seeing the difference between a citizen of Kenya being one parent, and a citizen of the US being the other, and there being an issue.....especially if the mother was under age at the time of the childs birth. According to the laws on the books when this happened, Daddy would give the citizenship to the child.

Are you just as appalled, that the bamster would have a brochure from his publisher list him as born in Kenya, and Obama wouldn't promptly say something about it? Seems encouraging people to think your born in Kenya,...or being born in Kenya makes for more "gravitas". So how did the publisher come up with Kenya being Obama's birth place????...You don't suppose he may have asked Barry??....Naaaaahhh! I'll bet they just pulled it out of their azz. Yeah! It seems the problem has to do with just when people want to hold Obama accountable for his spending. They conveniently give Barry a pass, until October of 09. This is neat, because it ignores Barry asking Bush to release the second half of the TARP funds....the half Bush didn't spend and Obama did, and it also skips right over the 800 billion stimulus package.....and, for those nit pikers out there, Bush didn't sign the House and Senate Budget for 09....Barry did that in March.
So, if you pull 1.2 trillion dollars of spending out of the Bush column on the little chart, and add it to the Obama side, "Barry the miser", becomes just as fictitious as Mikey Mouse. we don't even have to get into the budget that Bush didn't sign to get there.

And before anybody starts dumping on rich folks, Fortune 500 companies and independently wealthy individuals have paid my wages for the last 18 years, and afforded me the income to buy cars, guns, a house, motorcycles, food, and a whole bunch of .... from WalMart that I probably could have lived without.

God Help the USA!

Theres no reason to question Romneys origin. He lacks the controversy obama proudly wears. Rev wright, his mom/dad, his books, his associations...valerie jarrett, bill ayres, anita dunn etc... , his speeches/comments when was a professor?? Theres so much.

Once Obama became president, all the questions surrounding his origins was never a priority. I'm more concerned that there's a Marxist in the White House -- no matter where he was born. And I don't care if he's purple. I want someone there who will defend the Constitution, uphold it, promote free enterprise and nurture individual liberty. Obama does none of the above.

Agree.

I questioned this from the beginning. Obama has treated the process of legitimacy to become president like a game, which we've found out since is the same way he treats everything -- as a political game.

Why create this kind of controversy? If there are questions, lay it out in detail and be done with it. The lack of action and the lip-service he has used to mock the concern shows lack of judgment, shows arrogance, immaturity and insincerity. It is an insult to the American people, the Constitution and the office of POTUS.
