I'm really getting sick and tired... 11 Months, 3 Weeks ago  
I am really getting sick and tired of going places and people coming up to me after looking at my bike and saying:

Nice Harley...
Cool Paint on that Harley...
What model of Harley is that?
Is that a stock Harley color...
What year Harley is that?
I use to have a Harley like that only not as nice...
I would love to have a Harley like that...
Who painted your Harley?
Did you do all the custom work on that Harley?
What kind of Harley emblem is that on the tank...custom?
I love Harleys with big fat tires...
Bet that Harley cost as much as a couple of Lexus coups...
Cool Harley ride dude...

It's not a Harley...IT'S A YAMAHA ROAD STAR! Then they say "That can't be a Yamaha" and I say "no really it is a Yamaha..."

I am thinking of getting a tank badge that says just that. My neighbor that has a Harley is always laughing at me when people come up to look at my bike when we are riding togather and make the Harley comments...I just tell him... Well, look at which bike they are looking at!

Is it only around here that everybody thinks a big bike is a Harley?

Slap a big 8 inch tuning fork logo on both sides of the tank with YAMAHA across the bottom.

Never mind. Probably still happen!

nope, happens all over apparently. had my first time for that this weekend myself.

My favorite part is telling them it is a Yamaha I love when they are looking at it and can't figure out what it is. Or when they are talking with there buddy saying I wish I had a sick custom Harley Bagger like that The looks I get when I tell them What it is. Priceless

Happens to me too, and my bike isn't far from stock compared to most on the clinic. I just say thanks and move on...
