Metzler 77H 150/80/16 1 Year ago
I installed this rear tire about 6k miles ago... I have never had a tire that feels as slippery as this one... has anyone else tried this tire? They said its suppose to be their heavy duty rated tire... but I don't like the way it rides... I think I will be going back to the Metzler 160/80/16... it has better traction... that is if I don't go to the dark side this time...

Do you have the 71H or the 77H? There is a difference

I run the Michelin Commander in a 77H and don't have any issues.

The michelin commander ii is a 77h load rating as well, I love the way it handles. And its supposed to be the best wearing tire out now too.

That's what they are saying about the Metzler 77H... it is wearing good, I just don't like the feel if it... I had to perform a very fast stop the other day, one that I would normally take without issue, and this tire didn't take it too well... it slid on me... talk about a pucker factor!

I got this one...
ME 880 Wide White Sidewall Rear Tire150/80HB-16

I have it slide out and when down shifting aggressively
I've also had it power slide when giving it gas through the twisties... that'll get your attention

Happened to me right in front of the house right after I put the tire on. I figured it was because I hadn't broke it in yet. Never happened since tho...

Maybe you should use that other brake a little bit more often
