Smoky Mountain Meet & Greet 11 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Ok guys... we are getting some thing going here for the M&G... The campground that we are talking with has two cabins available for that week of October 1st-7th... the cabins cost $98 a night... but, they both have queen beds, pull out sofas and a loft... they will sleep 4 to 5 adults confortably... so that means about 10-14 bikers typically ... She is holding them both, but we need to let her know if we want them ASAP! I am pretty sure PigPen is going to rent one... and I will offer to help him with that one for a few nights myself... if there is a group of you that would like to get together and split the cost, that is fine, or if you want a nice place all to your self, that's fine... but she needs to know something soon... You will need to call her at 828-837-6223. Peace Valley campground and her name is Dee... she said it takes one night deposit to hold it... for those that want to camp, it is $6.00 a person per day... The Best Western can give us $75 a night if we book 10 rooms, otherwise it is $90 a night...
Everyone can check out the campground at www.peacevalleycampground.com ... go to lodging, river view cabins, lodge 1 and 2... those are the ones available. If there is anything else reguarding lodging, let us know...

I would like to thank Sassy for all the work she has put into this so far! She is busting her hump for us guys... And from what I can see in an email from PigPen, he is going out of his way to bring us all a very informative flyer and getting some rides and events as well... so, thank you Dennis!

Personally, I can't wait til October...

Add me to the list for the Best Western, Momma said no more tents and I can't figure out how to pull the camper and ride the bike at the same time.

I think I'm going to make plans now. If anyone is taking I20 thru Louisiana and Mississipi or I30 thru Arkansas let me know and we might be able to meet up before hand.
