Yup I'm waitin to hear if the new duals from freedom scrape or not, there are also the Bassani true duals set up that looks like they ride higher than what we have. sorry Darn if you dont want to drag your pipes then go with a 2-1 unless the new style from freedom or the bassanis don't scrape. I know that Rphazen has the bassanis so you could ask him if his scrape

You should also check out the custom true duals by Kent. He can do two different heights, the normal ones look like they hit just below the axle bolt at the rear.

2-up with a featherweight, I can and do drag my 2-into-1's, but never before my floorboards. Stock ride height. All depends on the design on the pipes I guess.

Still gives me a jolt everytime cuz I'm not expecting it. I know the nails-in-the-sides feeling too.

I don't know about the dragging but I love the sound of true duals. Have read and been told that you will loose a little power on the low end. But I noticed no difference in power loss when I installed them on my other bikes. The 2 into 1 are best if wanting to pull every bit of power out of your system since it does the best job of scavaging.

But then again PhatRJ's pipes are tough as hell to. Tough decision.

Hey, I haven't lowered, and I drag the V&H 2 into 1... they're not so high you can't scrape 'em.

But, now that I think of it... that's only when the wife's aboard.

I have Cobra 2 n 1 on my 06 and my 08. The sound is just right for me and the performance is better. The MPG improved by at least 10%. On the 08 I'm getting 49 to 51 and the 06 gets 50 t0 54.

I have been looking at the Cobra 2 into 1 because they look like they ride a little higher and wouldn't drag. I was only concerned that they would not be loud enough for me. I put my boards down all the time in corners and would not like to have the pipes hitting before the board.
